"This is a beautiful place to stay. It is located on the West Bank about a 10 minute walk from the ferry. The room was spotless when I checked in. Beautiful view of the Nile. Staff was very friendly and helpful and was always available for any questions or assistance. Being located on the West Bank is an idea location since it is much more quiet and peaceful. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Luxor in the future."

Its exhausting & demoralizing, trying to keep a good mood & enjoy your trip while all Egyptians see "all tourists" as "marks". "This guesthouse is in a quiet and peaceful setting with beautiful views of the nearby temple complex and quaint village life. However this place has many drawbacks. First of all it is very hard to find; no taxi driver knows where it is and there isn’t even a sign. Second, we had two rooms and neither shower worked. "The only good thing about this hotel was the location, however once we checked in, we left asap because we found a cockroach in the curtains… a flying one too. We’re not picky travelers and we like to stay at economically friendly place but would not stay at a place with roaches or bed bugs. Pay a little extra to stay across the street at Pyramisa or somewhere else. I wouldn’t recommend this place as we couldn’t even complete our stay"
