I chose this hotel as the one I usually stay at was fully booked. In comparison It’s pricey for such a basic room. Can’t fault the welcome or the staff.

Efficient, good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Smallest and most compact en suite bathroom I have ever seen. Perfectly functional but a bit of a struggle for anybody of ample proportions or mobility.

Nothing wrong with this hotel or the staff at all in fact it was very good and very convenient for all our needs with one exception the price of the room Normally if you purchase a airline ticket or a train ticket well in advance they are generally much cheaper but not this hotel room I purchased this stay via the Expedia web site in September 2023 and paid £269 less a reward discount making my cost £257 for a one night stay.Only to find if I had waited until much nearer the time of stay I could have paid much less as little as £160 on the night of my stay

Easy access for the First Direct Arena which we were visiting, friendly staff who were very helpful and knowledgeable, we felt very safe, lovely room and a great breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was ideal for a concert at the arena. It is literally around a 3 minute walk. Close to the shops too! Would definitely stay again.

Great location in centre of Leeds and right next door to large multi story which is £10 for 24 hours after hotel stamp the ticket. It’s at the budget end of hotels with not massive facilities but it’s very clean and quiet. Will happily stay there again.

Great location and fantastic value for money. We stayed mid week when there were no events at the arena though, so it was definitely a good price. Super comfortable bed and everything you need in a room, super clean and great shower. Reception area was a bit basic and they didn't tell us basic info like parking or the fact that you had to use your card on the lift - but not a big issue.

This was the first time I had stayed in an Ibis hotel and I was very impressed -the check in was seamless the room was very clean and had lovely shower .The room had everything needed and was better than some 5 star hotels I’ve stayed at.Would definitely stay at an Ibis again

Central hotel for small people
A nice reasonably central hotel near the arena, staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast was ok but scrambled eggs so underdone for my liking. Chef can easily be seen through hatch wearing a track suit. I went to the 'restaurant' and there was a guy sitting at the bar so I waited for a member of staff, it was him! He went behind the bar. I asked if he had a menu and gave me the bar menu which I already had in my hand, and I asked if they done food and didn't really get a response. Imagine my surprise at breakfast to see a nice menu via QR code - why on earth are they not interested in having customers, weird! The room was ok but two issues.... Firstly the bathroom is small but I challenge anybody other than small people to use the toilet effectivley, its a tiny space and the toilet roll holder is in the worst place so I hurt myself every time I used the toilet! The other is where some hotels use base sheets that don't cover the full bed and wrap under, but dont fit the full bed - why on earth do they do this?

Clean comfortable, but room was too light at night
Clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a little cramped, with the basin crowding the lavatory. The heating aircon had a very bright light, which i had to switch off in the night. Also the curtains didnt quite close and there was a very bright light outside, making the room very bright in the night.

Fire alarm in the middle of night with no staff around to say where to go or what was going on. Lasted over an hour as the system couldn’t be reset and no apology the next day. Breakfast was disappointing and lacking in variety, the croissants were fridge cold and unpleasant.

Liked the interesting decor throughout the hotel. Lovely comfortable double bed. Standard double room pretty small and bathroom absolutely tiny, but both functional and comfortable. Very clean in all areas of hotel. Easy car parking at CitiPark just 3 minute walk away and discounted by reception to £10 for overnight stay. Breakfast was ok, a fair choice of hot and cold items. Not the best I've had but certainly adequate. Would certainly stay here again.

Reception was great they allowed us to use room early,very friendly staff, excellent that they did hospitality coffees from machine in reception Down side was not able to sit in the bar after getting a drink, also outside tables were no smoking, didn’t understand that Why would you be outside if you didn’t smoke
