It was an older property but very clean. The breakfast was very limited but they did offer a little something. It was good for the cost.

Americas Best Value Inn in Lebanon is a great value. Rooms are clean, warm & quiet. Owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. Facility is located within walking distance or a quick drive of a variety of restaurants.

As for the charges on the card, one should be the room charge and the other should be a hold for the incidental deposit. I reserved this room online for my mother-in-law. She was traveling and needed a room. I paid for the room online. When she reached the hotel, she was told that she would need to pay an additional $100 deposit. She called me, as I was the one with the credit card. I was willing to pay the additional $100 fee, on top of the amount already paid for the room. The attendant said that he could not take my card over the phone. He said that the card needed to be in my mother-in-law's name, as she was the one staying in the room. Or I had to show up at the property with my card and driver's license in order to pay the additional deposit. I stated I lived in a completely different state and would not be able to appear in person. He said it was standard practice for all hotels in the area to only accept payment in person. My mother-in-law walked across the street to a Super 8 and I was able to pay for that room over the phone, with no additional deposit, at a discount after that attendant heard what we'd been through. This was one of the worst experiences with a hotel I have ever had. I would not only not recommend this hotel to anyone, I would go out of my way to share my experience and discourage ANYONE from staying here.

I like the simplicity of the property. However, the bedding was dirty and had stains on the sheets. It was almost like they hadn’t cleaned the room at all from the last time it was used.

The room was nicer than I expected for this price range. It was in very good condition with floors that appeared to be new. It was large, with a rather odd arrangement--the room was long with the lavatory at one end of the room and the beds and tv at the far end and the door to toilet and bathtub in the middle. Everything was clean. The beds were fine. Shower was good. There should probably be a towel bar or at least a hook near the bathtub. The rack was above the toilet many steps from the tub. The room was also quiet--I never heard any noise from outside or above us. Parked the car right outside the door. I saw a laundry room, though I didn't use it.

Great stay. No problems whatsoever. Friendly staff. Quick check in. About 15 mins from the Amphitheater, which was the purpose for our stay. Affordable and still close. The bed, however… it’s hard. That could just be a mr thing, though. IMO, not a comfortable sleep.

This hotel smells very musty. Carpets need updated. Air conditioning did not work good at all. And air was positioned behind one of the beds where it just blew on the lowered part of bed and did not cool the room. Bathtub was very slow to drain when showering

The reason why we believe you may have the wrong property is because none of our hotel rooms have carpet in them. Also, none of our air conditioning units face behind the bed. It is unfortunate that you experienced such inconveniences, and hope the property that you stayed at take you suggestions into consideration.
