Time to change the toilet to a hi-rise, low-flo-it's not 1970! Little things needed repair, toilet paper holder, moulding around door by tub a total mess and black mold starting. Very dark decor. Extremely noisy with teens running up and down halls, playing with ice machine. No answer at front desk to address this. Probably would not stay here again.

I enjoyed my stay at the sandman. The property was right across the big mall for some shopping and a short drive to Costco. The Hotel have a good size swimming pool unfortunately it closes by 10PM to all guests.

We had a room on the third floor- room 333. Upon check in we were told the elevator wasn’t working so we had to pack our luggage etc up the stairs. Instead of telling us to go park in the back lot of hotel where our room was literally at the top of the stairs we were given directions for the long way down 3 long sets of hallways. The room had a large water stain on the ceiling. Wrappers under chair cushion from who knows when.

Had the worst view in Kelowna. Bottom floor in the tower looking at an air conditioner and black roof. I paid for a suite in the tower hoping to have a drink on a deck and look at the view. Nope. Hot tub was broken as well. At least the staff were super friendly. I did not say anything about my room.

Overall not impressed with the hotel given the price paid. Only had one towel and no face clothese despite 2 registered guests. Tried calling down to both the housekeeping and the service desk multiple times but no one answered. Ended up having to go down personally to get more towels and cloths. Bathroom lighting was dark with a single light making getting ready for a special occassion challenging. Lobby was hot with no airflow.

Rooms AC was loud and rattling. Room window looked at cement wall and into indoor pool area. Without AC on the room was So muggy it was hard to breathe. Door was loose in the frame and let light and sound in. Door across from our room had been recently kicked in. Do not recommend at the price you pay.

Like - The Front desk tried their hardest. Dislike - - The room was not cleaned. - Coffee machine not working, I reported it, still was not replaced. - It would be nice to have mugs for coffee not paper cups. - Non smoking room, had to leave the patio because of Smoke smell. - Chipped furniture, mouldings. - Bent ceiling fixture - Ripped Heat board. - Towel Rack fell apart - Tile Grout needs to be addressed, looks filthy - Noisy Door closing that you could hear from doors on neighbouring suites at least 3 suites away. And loud. Now, probably the worst item : Paper thin walls!! Good for the couple in the next room to have a good late night session, but it was like she was in our bed, expressing her pleasure. One session was bad enough but when it went into a multiple session it got really uncomfortable. Please use this as a “To Do” to fix up for future guests.

I’ve stayed here many times but it’s not a place I will again. I didn’t expect perfection but I do expect clean. We had mustard stains on our carpet, corners aren’t actually swept, overall dusty and dingy. It’s not been kept up and it’s too bad. You exit out thinking you’re going to parking lot and end up at the back of a convenience store and Chinese buffet. All we could do was laugh. The bartender was great and we enjoyed hanging with her a few hours. But this hotel needs love.

for the most part it was relatively quiet especially since i think there were a number of sports teams staying at the same time. i would have rather had a room either on the mail level or maybe first floor as i have a slight mobility issue that makes stair climbing difficult dur to pain in my hip and we did not actually have any bath towels in our room so we had to hit up the housekeeping cart in the morning before showering.

Room felt very dated. Old furniture, scuffed walls, spider crawling around in the ceiling light fixture above bed, slight smell upon room entry, air conditioner unit was so loud it sounded like a hurricane was brewing in the corner of the room. Had to turn it off completely in order to sleep. Over all feeling of uncleanliness in the room. We were there on a quick overnight and only spent 7 hours in the room thank goodness. Staff was average upon check in. Free parking was a plus I guess and location is good if you want to be central and close to shopping. Would not stay again as the feeling of our room was just too dated and worn for our liking. Got it on an Expedia member reduced price but the price was still high in comparison to the room quality for sure!

I had a pet friendly room; it looked over the pool (no access to any fresh air open window or natural lighting) & use of small in wall a/c resulted in chlorine smelling room. You coud *clearly* hear people in neighboring rooms. Decor was aged and dark (brown wallpaper & carpet) and numerous stains on carpet. Thankfuly the bed was comfortable & my reservation was only 1 night. I would not stay here again if I could help it.

There was no elevator at this property in the old building. Part of the hotel is old and the windows look into the pool in quite a few rooms and then there is a connecting section that is a much nicer tower.
