Many aspects of my stay were extremely frustrating and disappointing. No one was there to check me in. I rang the bell twice, no one came. I called their front desk, no one answered or came. As I was calling a second time, someone came. I should not have to call the front desk twice to check in.
At check out, it was 4:40am and my Uber was arriving at 4:50am. Breakfast in the lobby was ready and set, I went there and the employee running it said “breakfast only at 5.” I said “my Uber will be here at 4:50” and she said nothing. I thought that meant I couldn’t grab an omelette or coffee or make toast, so I grabbed a tiny packaged muffin that was on the open tray by the fruits and made my way to the door. The employee then very loudly said as I walked out “breakfast starts at 5, you need to learn how to listen.”
Extremely rude and unnecessary over a stale muffin the size of a sticky note I took 10 min early. I felt very unwelcome and as if I was a burden to this hotel.
