During the day its not as bad to meander around but to walk two blocks anywhere at night, i would not be walking alone. "Very comfortable stay. The hotel was undergoing some renovations so sadly it wasn't as pretty but they did best to minimize disruptions. The staff were pleasant. I have no complaints other than parking was incredibly expensive though we knew that ahead of time and I imagine its similar to other hotels in this area. There wasn't anything particularly special about this hotel but it provided a good nights rest in the area we wanted. I would stay again if I needed to stay downtown. "

"Astra is Seattle is a great property. Modern and contemporary design with great service. We stayed on the 7th floor corner room which gave us a spectacular city view including the Space Needle. I had 2 minor issues. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable. Second is there is no option to get fresh air in the room. I’ll certainly stay here next time I visit Seattle. "

"I’ve stayed here multiple times now and it’s an ok hotel. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel itself is pretty outdated and the only ammenities is a cafe/restaurant on the main floor which was closed because of construction. There is no air conditioning and if you do open the windows to get fresh air it’s pretty noisy since it’s attached to hospital. Given the location and how easy it is to get to various areas of town on foot it is still a pretty good value."
