I spoke with someone about coming in for a late check in and was told I just had to be there by 11pm to get in and I said that shouldn't be a problem. When I got there at 10pm the doors were locked no lights on and it was closed! I called 3 different #s and got voice-mails each time. Never a call back. So be Careful if booking!

Hello Dayna, I’m sorry that you had this experience. As stated on our website, our office closes at 10pm. Also, stated on the website check in time is between 3pm-10pm. We do however offer a late check in option is self check in if notified prior to 10pm. We have accommodated several guest in the event that they are arriving g later than office hours by simply providing check in instructions prior to via our self check in option prior to 10pm. This will allow you to go into the building at any hour. Our staff attempted to reach you several times prior to the office closing to no avail. Again we do apologize that you had this experience.

When I first got here I had to wait 45 minutes for a lady to come let me in. I had to call just about every night to be let into my room because the door lock malfunctioned. One night I got locked out the whole night and no one ever answered the phone. There are lots of bugs and spiders all over the place as well. The main door always worked it was just the room door.I stayed here a week and they never came to change towels.

Hello Kyle, as stated when you arrived we operate as an airbnb and we ask that our guest reach out when they are 15 minutes out so that someone can greet them on arrival and get them checked in. On the back of every room door is a “do not disturb/request maid service” sign that we ask guest to leave out when requesting service. We also advise you to call the office which you did several times but never to request maid service. I had a technician come up and test the door multiple times and it didn’t fail once, however what we found is that if guest toggle the button in the back it locks you from your code. I apologize that you were locked out of your room that night, we attempted to call you several times however we got straight to a voicemail. This is the reason we sent the manager up the next morning to assist you. The calls started at about 3am and our office was closed. We did compensate you with another night at no charge. Oddly we were not informed by you of any bug issues at all. Also, thank you for booking another stay with us, I guess it wasn’t as bad as you stated.

The place looked like it was built in the 20's, there were only one light and it was on the ceiling fan, the electrical plugs were a extension cord draped over the head board and the parking was the worst you had to park on the street or in the back where there was very poor lighting. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANYONE

Hello Mr Arsenault. I’m sorry that you didn’t enjoy your stay. The building was built in the 1930s as stated in our description. For clarity to our readers, you stayed in The Cotton Room, which has one light fixture in the room and one in the bathroom. This room is very well lit and does have a new ceiling fan. Upon entering the room there is a ecpi plug on your left nest the sink, a newly installed socket on the right near the door, on the left near the dresser, as well a surge protector near the headboard for the convenience of plugging up multiple items like cell phone chargers and laptops etc…This room is one of our highly demanded rooms adored with a high post Rice Bed and a newly renovated bathroom. I find it important to mention that you did stay 2 nights and our staff was never made aware of any discomfort. Bella’s Management
