"Not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but this place is pretty sweet. Well kept, beautiful place. Our rooms (101 102) were stunning. They have that log cabin feel. The bathroom was a bit smelly, but I think that’s because of the sulfer in the water. I put a wet cloth over the drain, and it was fine. Fantastic “common area” and the amenities were great. Plus you get a solid continental breakfast. Very cozy. Self check- in was after 4pm as described, where you call the number they have...

"Large, clean and spacious 2 bedroom house. We didn't really use the kitchen but it seemed well stocked. The bathroom was clean and there is a washing machine. It is about a 10 min drive from the main highway and there is a good restaurant at a nearby campground that is a 5 min drive away. Grocery store and gas station 10 min away at the main highway. The only complaint I have is the towels were small thin and scratchy. Otherwise great stay!"

Great hotel and location
"Great hotel isolated from everything, has restaurant on site, great food available, we had dinner and breakfast. We were able to watch the Aurora borealis from this hotel as it is pitch black around it. Would stay here in a next trip to Iceland for longer time to use it as a basecamp to explore many places nearby."
