Overall the property and room were new, nice, and clean. It may seem like a small thing, but the window had a blackout shade set in a track so no light got in from outside. That was nice.
Biggest negative was the staff member at the desk when we checked in. We rented a suite with a pullout couch, which we needed for our kids. I put in our reservation note that we needed sheets for that bed. When we got there, she gave us sheets, but no blanket. We assumed one would be in the room. There wasn’t. My wife went down and asked for one, along with a couple more towels. She said she would look and bring one up. We waited an hour without hearing anything. I went back down and asked if she had found a comforter or blanket. She said she would grab a comforter. Problem solved. Except she came back and handed me a flat sheet. I said, “That’s not a comforter,” and she looked very confused. I asked for a blanket and she told me they were “all out”. The hotel was far from full and we could have just gotten a comforter from an unoccupied room, but she seemed more interested in eating with her boyfriend in the lobby than making an effort to help find a blanket for my kids.
Also, somewhat minor, but we were planning to swim, but the pool was cloudy, unclean, and we decided not to.
There are plenty of other options, so we will stay elsewhere next time.
