"I really, really enjoyed my stay at Pigalle. At first I thought it was a themed hotel as the style and vibe is so distinct but the more I explored the hotel the more I felt I'd stepped back into 1800s Gothenburg. The design, the interiors and the details are so rich and inviting. The rooms are comfortable with high ceilings, neat little bathrooms with amazing water pressure. The breakfast is fantastic - such a great spread. I especially loved the yoghurt and berries! I sadly didn't get to try...

They mention that the reception desk is staffed limited hours. I never saw anyone there, and i must have passed by 10-12 times at various times of the day. If the front door is locked when you arrive and you don't have a phone, there is a way to get in, but we figured it out by trial and error. The instructions on the front door were not...
