I chose this hotel for its proximity to the railway station. It's a pleasant place, albeit not for those with mobility issues. Welcoming, with a friendly bar serving real ale (a plus for me). My room was comforable and I had no complaints about the facilities. A good Welsh breakfast.

Friendly people Especially the barman, a Witt as sharp as a knife. lovely bar and a very nice accommodation Small English breakfast’ very tasty. All in all a enjoyable stay

September 2nd Stay
Had a most enjoyable stay. Room was first class. Had a really enjoyable breakfast. The pint of Guinness in the bar is top notch. Bernard and his staff were really helpful and friendly. Lovely atmosphere in the bar. Locals made me feel really welcome. Would highly recommend the Glendower.

Very clean and comfortable, friendly staff, good breakfast. Only drawback was lack of parking, though we found a space on the street free until 9 a.m.

Weekend stop over
Perfectly good stop when getting off the ferry. a little pricey for the size of the room and condition of the mattress. But the breakfast was very good and the staff very friendly.

A good place to stay. Appears a bit worn but rooms are lovely and owners have done everything to make your stay comfortable. Would definetly stay as comfortable and clean

This hotel is lovely,spotlessly clean and has everthing you could need. The bed was very squeaky when you turned over but quite comfortable. Sorry but breakfast wasnt good.

Service excellent, very friendly the hotel is a work in progress and they deserve to get there, breakfast very tasty great coffee but poor quality sausage. Bed linen and towels smelt clean and fresh. We had a twin room, beds poor quality and very thin pillows, that said had a good nights sleep. Woke early due to no blackout on velux window. Small but powerful shower . Caution on sink when you turn the tap on the water shoots over side of sink . Parking close by only £2 for 24hrs covid restrictions not followed at all.
