There are combinations for us in having pets and being on the 1st floor so I did not have to use.The stairs was wonderful.Also the bidding and the mattress are incredible

The history of this place is incredible! Teddy Roosevelt and many others stayed here. Hotel looks like a palace and is tastefully updated without losing the historical charm.

Beautiful historic hotel; nice seating areas in lobby; convenient to hot springs and pedestrian bridge into town. However, it's so close to the interstate that you hear the noise from your room 24/7. I suggest you bring earplugs. I had to ask to be moved to a different room because the window wouldn't shut all the way, and it was going down to 26 degrees. The 2nd room also had a window that didn't shut, and there was a used pair of disposable underwear on the closet shelf. Gross. The 3rd room was better, but still kind of dirty; especially the bathroom. I know it's an old hotel, but old shouldn't equal dirty.

Great historic property. We took the Molly Brown suite and it was fun to go up the tower from our room. Staff is very friendly. The hotel is dated and needs renovation, though.

Historic significance iams amazing! I stayed on 1st floor and was noisy with kids running in 2nd floor and people in hallways talking till midnight..if you seek quiet or are a life sleeper, recommend staying on top floor

The property is beautiful and has such charm. I am saddened to see how they have chosen to update the rooms. I will say the furniture is nice and the beds decently comfortable. However those in charge of making sure things are painted correctly are lacking. It almost looks as though a 10 year old painted things. The beautiful old doors had the hardware just painted over them. The room number plates had paint on them as well. The bathtub insert has to be the cheapest insert I have ever seen and it just took away from the charm of the antique bathroom and made it look cheap and old. They also have some kind of slip proof sandpaper bottom to the tub, that was so rough when I sat I scraped myself and was bleeding. I just don’t understand out of all the beautiful older hotels in Colorado this one could be one of my favorites. I believe they need to just get someone in to manage their maintenance better. I don’t know if we will go back and that is sad because we were married in Aspen in 2020 and stayed there the night of our weeding so it is a very special place. I understand that there are many components to running that place so maybe there are reasons it has gotten that way. I must point out the restaurant is amazing and the service was the best I have had in while.

The rooms are very small. We had a suite and the extra area consisted of a “room” that was the size of the desk that was in it. The bathroom has no counterspace. The front desk staff is nice enough, but they don’t pick up the phone so you have to go downstairs to ask questions or get what you need. Housekeeping is not 24/7 so if you need anything when they’re not there, you are out of luck. You have to carry your luggage up steps to enter the hotel, so if you can’t do that, don’t stay here. Lastly, parking is $15 a night. I personally won’t be staying here again.

The preserved character of this property gives one a feeling of the opportunity to meet President Teddy Roosevelt in the beautiful lobby. Outside, on a chilly and snowy evening, I met several different people around the fire pits who were wonderful company! We finally retired into the lobby, which, again, absolutely takes you back to the days of Teddy Roosevelt. I love it! By the way, the staff is top notch, and the bar is as well preserved as you might imagine. If you want to stay in a hotel that takes you back to the glory days of the American West, and experience what Teddy Roosevelt did, this is the place for you

It’s a beautiful hotel. Lots of old character and charm. The rooms are so big. Plenty of space for my family. The staff at check in were so helpful, gave us tips on what to check out in town and how to get where we were going. Great experience!

No air conditioning and takes a while for the Hot water to run beautiful hotel needs a lot of attention the whole town of Glenwood Springs could use a touch of paint beautiful spring flowers popping up everywhere such an amazing place to visit.
