Nice place, great for family
The place was very nice, just a bit noisy and initially difficult to find. The stay was fantastic and the location was close proximity to food.

We had a great experience in this place to begin with, until we realised that our frozen food that we placed in the freezer had melted and rendered inedible. As our visit to Penang was during the to visit our family for the festive season, the food was meticulously chilled and brought all the way from a different city to be shared with the family. Our effort was futile just because the freezer temperature was by default set to the "refrigerator mode", which means that it wasn't freezing the food at all. Obviously we did not noticed this until later. Thank you Tien Residence, in your effort to save some money for your electricity bill, you've ruined our holiday along the way.

Convenient and trendy home stay
Honestly love the place, amenities and the location. Only 2 setback, the night parking arrangement as there's a food stall that operates from 7pm-3.30am that has tables and chairs blocking the parking entry/exit. Second is the noise, if you can accept it that's fine. As the bedrooms are behind a main road, you could hear the busy traffic, mosque prayers plus the food stall patrons. Other than that, the place is spacious, lovely, ideal for group of friends to hang. Elderly or toddlers may not be suitable due to the steep staircase and bathroom access on the upper loft deck. Would I stay there again, definitely a YES :)

酒店職員樂於幫忙。任何查詢，均立時處理。 酒店房間由老房子改建，有廳有房，也有天井和露台，環境旺中帶靜。設計有風味。而且，位置靠近旅遊景點，光大廣場、張弼士故居、愛情巷、牛干冬等等地方，均可徒步抵達。 酒店附設免費泊車位置，就在屋子前面，十分方便，適合自駕遊的家庭。 房子的天井有個魚池，養了觀賞魚，晚上無聊時，可以觀魚為樂。 房子有個房間是兩層的，可住四人，共兩張雙層床，很好玩。但房內沒有足夠的坐臥地方。 電視機不太好，因為畫面上下兩截色，似乎屏幕壞了，減了不少觀影樂趣。

其實幾正
其實這房子設計很好，由老房子改建，很有風味。 這設計很適合家庭，尤其是有小朋友的家庭。小朋友一見到那張雙層床，一定十分歡喜歡。 酒店職員十分樂意協助。入住期間，我們多次電郵報告房間內的問題，例如無線網絡經常斷線，網絡電視經常看不到，畫面上下不同顏色，房間有蚊子但沒有蚊香，諸如此類，職員都很短時間的來處理。 房間其實是個老房子，這房子的外面，就是個印度熟食攤販，入夜之後就很多人在吃東西。如果你喜歡印度食品，真的十分適合。 這房子位處熱鬧的區域，有夜市有夜店。漂亮的ODEON的士高就在附近。夜半強勁的音樂還在響，可以伴你入眠。
