Great staff, Pierre at reception was pleasant and helpful throughout our stay!
A couple of set backs...:
The property was in renovation, and this was not indicated anywhere on the Expedia website. A whole floor was in full works, and the stairs were understandably dusty, dirty etc. The elevator is very small so it made going up and down inconvenient. The works also continue through the weekend...
The property is not soundproof, you can hear noise from the corridor, rooms on the side, and steps from above floors.
We booked a seaside view, and paid the corresponding price... but only got a partial view, that required leaning on the window to actually see the sea.
Water pressure in the shower was very weak, and water took 15 minutes to warm up to lukewarm.
Excellent bedding and big, spacey room. TV didn't work properly but no biggie. No shelves to store clothes etc, only a few hangers. Wifi patchy. Show floor slippery, take care, in socks or shoes.
Super convenient for walking to Folkestone city centre, and right by the Leas park and the seaside walk, perfect location.
