The facility is well cared for, but a bit tired. The bed was ok, but a bit saggy. Elevator and laundry were fine, a good safe inexpensive place.

The floor looked new, but the walls were worn in the ceiling head holes in it. For the most part of the property is rundown. The pool area seemed nice being close to the major highway. It was a bit noisy.

The owner was knocking at the door at 10:59 am making sure our checkout was not a minute late. Not acceptable after spending many consecutive nights here. Also found sand in the bed indicating sheets were not properly cleaned.

Overall, we liked staying here, the place was clean, and quiet, and the staff was friendly and did a good job cleaning the room. We would stay here again.The price was the lowest - by >$100/night - we found. The downsides: it's NOT "fancy". It is very "spartan" - no carpet anywhere, minimal furniture in room, bathroom door lock was on the wrong side of the door. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but it met our needs, and was quiet, clean, and friendly.

Less than great
This is an older hotel and the furnishings were in poor condition. The mattress definitely needs replaced. The bedding felt "damp" and the next morning when the tile floor was wet we figured there was a definite moisture issue. On a positive note, the bathroom was renovated and plenty of hot water but not a good experience.

Gross and depressing
While walking up to my room, the man that checked me in beat me to it. He came out with an ozone machine. The room still smelled of smoke. The lamp shade was broke, ceiling was falling in and the faucets were stained and filthy. The end tables still had cup rings and stains as well. It was a very depressing room. I went back down immediately and was refunded my money.

The rooms were kept extremely clean, the bathroom was brand new. Nice and quiet. The only thing they need to change are the very dated colors in the room in the bed linens and window curtains. I would stay there again. Thank you.

First room was very loud even though on check it was confirmed that room is quiet. Second room was quite. Coffee bags were not filled up on the next day. Could only sleep until midnight because heater was not working

Nothing to like anout the property. The room was dirty and in need of repairs. Broken/ripped lamp shade, toilet not working, walls and mirrors filthy. I would definitely not recommend this place especially at the rate of $200 a night. It should be priced at more likely $69 a night

The property was being remodeled, so there was some construction material around. All in all the place was nice for the price. Room was very nice and roomy. I visit Englewood frequently, and will definitely stay there.

Close to the beaches, price was good. I called to make sure they had no damage and was told everything was working. Once arrived, pool closed, room smelled horrible, towels were dirty. They gave coffee but no coffee pot. Refrigerator was gross. Had to buy Lysol to disinfect the odor.

Nice enough for one nite or two
The facility is well worn. The room was partially remodeled, bathroom was nice, lamps and room accessories were worn and from a previous incarnation. It was generally clean and the AC worked fine, which being summer in Florida was very important. My cost was $119 which was slightly more than I thought it was worth. It seems the contracting work on the facility was done very sloppy with lots of bits of paint and caulking on the walls and floor left you with the impression that a friend did the work and not a professional. It had an elevator but it was filthy with scratched graffiti all over it. Absolutely little attention to detail. Again, the facility was worn and not updated at all. I stayed just one nite so it worked for me but would have not have stayed longer. The people who ran it were East Indian and very nice.

First room had dirty sheets, moved us to a second room. “Clean” towel brought to room had something spilled on it. Freezer in room fridge was full of something pink. Ceiling exhaust in bath seemed to be full of mold/dirt/something. Hallways and elevator dirty. Would not recommend. I understand ongoing hurricane repair but that doesn’t make up for the dirty room.
