"If you like walking this place is definitely a must. We stayed at Ayenda and walked to the beach daily as well as to monument where a video of us was taken, that was a lot of fun. Downside, we didnt have running water often and that really affected us and our view of the place. Make sure the price you were promised and the price they charge you is the same. "The property is very charming, clean and uniquely designed. The service is great; polite and ready to please. The surrounding beach, however, leaves a lot to be desired. The very unkind Magdalena River unloads metric tons of driftwood and other natural junk on the surrounding area on a daily basis. The hotel staff do their best to clean their section of sand, resulting in piles of garbage on both sides of your beach."

"Accordig to the way I was taken to this property you should only plan coming here if you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle with off- road tires, dirt motorcycle, horse or donkey. The road in is in terrible condition! It takes about 45 mins. to go about 10 kms. The beach looks to be at the bottom of a small mountain, not sure how you access it.
