"Staff attentive, although you have to attract their attention as reception desk is located on back wall. Some (not many) English speakers. Room was a highlight with bath and shower’s sweeping views of Love River and city. But remember to switch off the lights if you shower at night - yes pedestrians can see you showering! Coin laundry was very handy."

"We loved being in this historic hotel. We walked to the ShihLin night market which was fun. The breakfast buffet was immense and a wonderful culinary adventure. The tour of the hotel and secret passage was very interesting. I would recommend staying at the Grand Hotel "

"classy hotel and I felt safe as a solo traveler. Came back after visiting another city and hotel and didn't like the other hotel. Super conveniently located next to a Breeze shopping mall and starbucks. Definitely recommend and willl stay again."
