Taiwan Hotels

We stayed at the Howard Plaza from 19-22 April and then again from 24-27 April. On our first visit we had only just arrived from China and my husband had food poisoning. The wonderful hotel staff couldn't do enough to help us. They took us to the local pharmacy to get medicine and were very attentive to my husband. All of the staff from the Bellboys to the Assistant Manager were wonderful. The rooms were wonderful with some nice added touches like L'Occitane toiletries and fruit each day. The location of the hotel is also great as you are close to shopping, restaurants and transport. If we go back to Taipei I will definitely be staying at the Howard Plaza.

We stayed at the superior twin room which was recently renovated. The ambience and comfort of the room were very good, nothing to complain. Location is superb. It's directly opposite Taipei main station. Another bonus is you don't have to walk out of hotel to get to the main station. Just go to B1, you will see a lot of restaurants and shops before reaching the station. Very convenient. Highly recommended this place.

We LOVED this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, polite and simply could not have been more accommodating. They hotel also has gone the extra mile to provide many amenities that make travel easier. Great breakfasts every day with tremendous variety; chargers in the room for iPads, phones, etc., complimentary snacks and water in the room every day, free laundry machines - including detergent, even a weigh scale for your luggage. And the location was terrific. It was an interesting are to walk in, and easy access to subway to get anywhere in town. Close to night markets, cinema, whatever you like. The hotel decor is a bit dated, even kitschy, but had its own charm. We would definitely stay here again.

The area is gorgeous and very convenient to everything you need. Fitness center is little bit lack of the exercise equipment. Hotel staffs are very responsive and ambitious about their service to the customers.

Great place to stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good location close to train station, bus stops, and shopping at street markets. Affordable and comfortable.
