"Beautiful historic property in the perfect location!"

"The hotel is down a small side street off the main walkway along the river. There are lots of dining options in the immediate vicinity, and the Vander Urbani has a restaurant where we ate breakfast each morning. Our spacious room was contemporary, with a large bath enclosed by a glass wall with curtains for privacy. Double windows shut out the noise from people dining alfresco nearby. We like it, and would recommend to friends."

"We stayed in Bled for one night on a longer trip through Croatia and Slovenia, and the Grand Hotel Toplice wasn't our most luxurious stay. Our room was quite small (not a lot of room for laying out suitcases we had from our long trip) and not very renovated. The bathroom was small but fine. Overall, it's all about the location, views, and service here. Our room had a patio with a table and two chairs and an incredible view of the lake, the castle, and the island. "We upgraded to a deluxe room, which was so grand. Great views from the patio (small table and chairs). Wish we'd had more time to take advantage of the amenities, but dinner at their restaurant (in the Michelin guide) and breakfast outside on their covered patio were lovely. "
