The property is beautiful, very traditional and in an idyllic location situated close to a lot of the main routes in Normandy making it great for getting around. We had a wonderful time staying in Normandy and the accommodation made it even more special. Thank you for a wonderful trip! "

"It was an adventure finding Belmesnil at night without GPS signal. We checked in late after resolving a minor confusion with our reservation. Found out that we had the entire chateau to ourselves for the night. My wife was afraid of ghosts but if there were any at Belmesnil, they were of the most welcoming and considerate kind. "We tried to book 3 doubles and a twin, I received an email stating to accommodate a twin I would need to update to a superior room at an addition cost, which I reluctantly agreed. However when we arrived at hotel, I was informed they never received my reply and didn't have the upgrade available. The hotel itself was split, those rooms near the pool area, which were modern and looked very stylish, and the other rooms in the main building, which were very dated and in need of a good sprucing...

"We spent 3 days in the "cowshed" room at Le Bois Gautier. The accommodation was very spacious with a full kitchen and a large bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We received a warm welcome from the new owner Bill who had prepared a log fire for our arrival, this made the accommodation very cosy and was a great touch. Bill had also brought some snacks/breakfast for us. The place was gorgeous, and very quiet, being in the middle of the countryside. It is located about 30 min drive from the scenic town...
