"Friendly and helpful staff &service. The rooms were kept clean and tidy. We felt very safe in and around the hotel. There are two tram stops within a 10 minute walk from each other from which you can directly get to the museum district as well as Amsterdam Centraal"

"Being the old shipping house, this hotel has an usual layout. Very nice restaurant and bar (food was very good) and the staff were all wonderful. Wendy and Vasiliki at the front desk and Dale and Bowie at the bar, who managed things very well when it was super busy. A few of the canal from my room was a bonus and it's a very short walk to central station."

"For some reason my room card (room 413) wouldn't work on the 3rd evening, which was a problem as it was after 10.30 in the evening, and i was a single 69 year old traveller. I returned to reception and the card was reset, i returned again to the 4th floor to find it still wasn't working. A member of staff then escorted me to the access door on the 4th floor to ensure it worked the 3rd time."
