Illinois Family friendly Hotels

"Great place to stay and centrally located. The breakfast area floor was filthy and constantly sticky. Not sure how often the rooms are vacuumed and the missed a day cleaning our room."

"The staff are excellent! Jay from Lockwood restaurant and bar was absolutely welcoming, made us feel like we were part of the family!! Jay also, made us feel comfortable!! He is the epitome of integrity and professionalism!! The food was excellent!! Our room was clean and in fair condition! "

"Hotel was beautiful. I loved the food. The place needs better signs. Like where the ice machines are in every floor. Which floor has the pool on it etc. the front desk wasn’t very informative either. I know they see a lot of people a day but that shouldn’t get in the way have making a guest feel welcomed and comfortable. "

"Great hotel in the center of downtown. Easy walk to the "Magnificent Mile" and Millennium Park. Rooms were great and the buffet was plentiful! "

"I like the Congress Plaza because it's still a reasonably priced downtown hotel that is close to a lot of downtown attractions. I didn't find the counter staff particularly professional, friendly, or helpful this particular visit. Was a bit disappointed by that. Otherwise, we liked our rooms (539 and 539A). Will be back. "

"Very comfortable and well kept property. Beds were very comfortable. Pleasant and helpful staff at front desk. Great breakfast buffet with lots of variety. One elevator wasn't working which was kind of a hassle. Pool was nice but no hot tub. "

"I was met at the front desk my Hyatts associate Tiffany. She was very freindly kind and explained all about the hotel and the check in process. The issue was that the internet was not working and Tiffany could not finish the check in process. She tried both computers and nothing would work. She apologized profusely, offered a beverage, as i waited.After a short while Tiffany apologized again, abd told me that she would getme into my room and when the system came back on line, ahe would co tact...
