Loved it. The ghost tour was the highlight of my trip. Loved the man playing the bagpipes. The decor was gorgeous.

I can’t say enough good things about this place!!! All of the staff were amazing, extremely nice and so helpful. The location was great. It is walkable to tons of great restaurants and lots of other things. Hotel was beautiful and so clean. We will definitely be back!!

Quite possibly the most inhospitable and cold check in l have ever experienced. Such a pity as the property is generally amazing and steeped in history. The bath tub coating is peeling off and in need of re-coating.

The room itself was fairly well worn, but clean and comfortable. The lobby and restaurant / bars were amazing. Staff was top notch! Gym was not impressive.

Overall, it was a great stay despite having a mishap, which the manager took care of it and quickly. The pool floor needs to be redone but it's ok to swim in it. Would definitely visit. This trip was a family one and the first one was a girl's weekend trip. The steakhouse is phenomenal! The food and the ambiance of the place is great for both adults only or with a family.

Really enjoyed our staff at The Reed house. We booked the premier king room. The staff were amazing, so friendly and polite. The bar had good drinks in the evening. The steakhouse in the hotel was fabulous. Yes the property could use some TLC here and there on the moulding, paint in a few places but over all we would definitely stay again My biggest suggestion I would make to the property owners would be to invest in new comfy mattresses please!

My friend and I stayed here for a girls weekend and we had the best time. I actually booked the wrong dates and realized a day before we were supposed to arrive. I was in a panic, but Dallas with The Read House went above and beyond to ensure that the dates were covered and we had a room. He even ensured that our prices matched the Expedia rates. He didn’t have to do that, and it meant so much that he did. We had a fabulous time. The only complaint was that the bathroom in our room wasn’t quite as clean as it could have been. But overall it was absolutely fantastic and we would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Read House. It’s a beautiful, historical hotel. All the staff were so nice and helpful. Our tour guide for Room 311 was great and the food in the bar was delicious. The bartenders were super nice too. We will be back.

The Valet was so convenient and so friendly. The hotel lobby is super nice.There is a starbucks located in the lobby as well. The bar has a lot of seating and nice to sit in after going to dinner before going to your room. The room its self was huge. I would stay here again.
