Very CLEAN, well cared for property with professional, courteous and helpful staff. After traveling and staying in disappointing hotels for a week this one was just what we needed. We will stay again when in town. Great job to the managing staff !

Loved the location and convivence to both Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountains Nation Park. The room itself was a great size with a full kitchenette. Refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, 12 cup coffee maker, and 2-burner top made it very easy to have meals in our room after long days of hiking. Bathroom was a great size, closet had great shelving and storage.

Spacious and updated!
Our room was big and very nice. We loved the table, chair& kitchen. We loved having the gym open 24 hours. The breakfast offered many choices.

Amazing customer service! We were greeted by the assistant GM when we checked in. He told us everything that was going on in the area. He was so welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The air worked perfect. We had no issues. Definitely will stay again if we are in this area

Carlsbad weekend trip
The hotel was nice, clean comfortable rooms. Shower was great. Beds and pillows were comfy. The breakfast was delicious and good variety of choices. The dining area was well kept and the patio was nice and inviting. This was a nice stay and I will definitely come back! The staff was friendly and helpful and accommodating.

Spacious room and vathroom, breakfast was wonderful, quiet (the way our room was positioned, the bed was farthest from door and shielded by the kitchenette and bathroom. The noise buffer was great). We would easily stay here again.

The property is great but the beds are absolutely AWFUL! We ended up leaving after one night because the bed was so uncomfortable. It was hard and lumpy and literally did not sleep more then a couple of hours. Unfortunately, because we booked through Expedia getting a refund on the 2nd night is doubtful. The facility and grounds are fantastic. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good. Too bad the beds were so miserable.

This is probably the most upscale place to stay in Carlsbad and the staff is very gracious and tries very hard to please.

The hotel manager went to a store himself to buy my 90-year-old mother a non-slip bath mat for the bathtub. The hotel staff was knowledgeable of the area and suggested restaurants and activities. A hot tub was pictured in promotional materials provided by Marriott on the Expedia website, however, there is no hot tub. Marriott ought to remove that hot tub photo. The breakfasts were good, and a variety of main course selections were provided every day of our stay. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of walking room between beds, walls, doors and counters. The kitchen had a good-sized refrigerator, not a mini-fridge, a sink and stove, and was stocked with basic cooking utensils. All-in-all, the Town place Suites in Carlsbad, New Mexico, is a great place to call home base as you see the local sites. My sister, mom, and I had a great time in the area.

We thought the breakfast was lacking. For example, there were no muffins, cinnamon rolls, fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, etc. Also, there were no ice machines on each floor.

We are sorry that our breakfast was not your best way to start off your day while staying with us. The breakfast does have two types of muffins and scrambled eggs on certain days and on others, bagels and scones and hard boiled eggs or type of quiches or egg with sausage biscuits or croissants. As for the fruit, there is always fresh bananas and red apples. We do not have cinnamon rolls, we have sliced bread and cheese biscuits instead. I will get with the breakfast department to see what went wrong during your stay to correct the lack of items. To help eliminate the noise for our guests, we only have the ice machine on the first floor, we do apologize for the inconvenience. We hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip and had a safe drive back home.

It was a very nice hotel. The room was very clean and modern. The complimentary breakfast in the morning was very good. My only complaint was that the pillows flattened out too much when you lay on them.

We do have two types of pillows and one of each kind should be in the room, so I will get with that department for future stays. The foam pillows are the more sturdy and the feather ones are more flexible. If you ask for feather free rooms on your stays the hotels will put in extra foam as replacements. We had a 2 bedroom suite, which was absolutely amazing. The room was nicer than some apartments I've lived in. Each bedroom had a big king bed, its own AC unit with wall mounted thermostat, tv, and each bedroom had its own bathroom. That was a really nice bonus. The living room was spacious and comfortable. The kitchenette was small but functional. All in all, I really liked our rooms and this hotel. The only negatives were the traffic noise at all hours, especially of motor cycles, and it is a bit further from Carlsbad Caverns than some other hotels I saw driving back and forth.

Our location is in the middle of town so it does add on about 5 minutes when compared to the ones on the outskirts of town, but we do like how close we are to the restaurants in town! This place is great! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Breakfast was very good, especially the homemade salsa. Location is by a park, so it was very pretty for the desert. Only thing to know-it’s pet friendly but they charge up to $100 non refundable fee.
