"The hotel experience was FAQ with efficient check -in and valet parking. The big let down was breakfast. Strictly nursing home standard. It should be much better and lets the rest of hotel down badly.Managers should do a "mystery shopper" test to see for themselves"

"Very enjoyable stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great and the staff were very friendly. The view from our balcony was amazing. Close by to resturants, pubs, foodworks and coffee shops and straight across the road to Newcastle Beach. We parked our car in the undercover carpark and did not move it until we were leaving."

"The hotel went through a recent refurbishment so it is new, clean and they went for a funky look which works. The room was small for a family room but would work well for a business traveller for a couple of days. Only complaint is the part time attended front desk which makes it hard to get support or service but overall ok. "

"Room was great, bed was ok but not comfortable, but thats personal preference. The issue with our room was it was directly above the kitchen, which the exhaust fans were on and was very loud and floor of room was vibrating. The fans did not shut off until 10pm on Friday and Sunday nights, with Saturday being turned off at midnight. Apart from this the room and facilities were good."
