We chose to stay at this Hilton as an alternative to options we’ve selected for Disneyland trips in the past. As a Hilton member I was frustrated that my status wasn’t worth anything since I’d booked through Expedia.
Upon arrival, our first room smelled of mj. The front desk was able to quickly move us to another room, but the neighbor to that room spent the night screaming at someone over the phone…3am, 4am, 5am…good news is that I was up and ready for an early day at Disney as a result.
It’s great that they have a Starbucks on premises, but the food at the Starbucks is HIGHLY inflated. Our Turkey Bacon sandwich was twice was it normally costs outside the hotel…we wondered why we had to reload the app several times. Two drinks and two sandwiches was more than our normal reload amount.
The hotel itself is nice, the beds comfortable, the amenities supplied are great. Transportation to and from the park is fairly easy and reliable. You have to buy passes which sometimes they check and sometimes they don’t. Be aware that the shuttle back only operates until 30 minutes past closing of the park.
I think this hotel is probably fine for most things, but I won’t use it again for Disneyland. I also will likely book direct through Hilton to be able to use my benefits.
