What you can expect

Begin your adventure with pickup from Zhangye Railway Station. Head to the famous Zhangye Rainbow Danxia Scenic Area to enjoy its colorful geological formations during sunset. Spend the night in Zhangye.

On day 2, travel from Zhangye to Jiayuguan Fortress and the First Beacon Tower of the Great Wall. Continue to the famous “Son of the Earth” sculpture before arriving in Dunhuang. In the evening, explore Shazhou Night Market at your own pace.

On day 3, visit the UNESCO-listed Mogao Caves with standard admission, digital exhibition center access, professional English-speaking explanation, and core cave visits. Continue to Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Lake for camel riding and desert sunset photography.

On day 4, start early with sunrise at Yadan Devil City, followed by visits to Yumenguan Pass and Yangguan Pass, two important Silk Road historical sites, before returning for departure.
