What you can expect

  • Itinerary

    • Hotel pick-up from your hotel in Zhangjiajie to start the tour.
    • Arrive at Mengdong River Visitor Center to collect rafting equipment and store your luggage (30 minutes).
    • Experience a 17km rafting journey down the Mengdong River canyon. Navigate exciting rapids and enjoy stunning waterfalls inside the natural gorge (3 hours).
    • After rafting, shower, change into dry clothes, and have lunch at your own expense (1.5 hours).
    • Transfer to Furong Ancient Town. Stroll along the historic stone paths and admire the spectacular illuminated cliffside waterfalls in the evening(3 hours).
    • Return to Zhangjiajie with drop-off at your hotel.

    Transportation Options (Based on Group Size)

    Groups of 5 or more: Full round-trip private vehicle service throughout the day (approx. 1.5 hours one-way from Zhangjiajie to Mengdong River).
    Groups of 4 or fewer: Combination of hotel transfers, high-speed train (round trip between Zhangjiajie and Furong Town, 40 minutes), and local vehicle connections.
