Our tour will start from Bochali, an impressive small village that is located on the hill behind the city of Zakynthos. During the Venetian occupation, as well as in subsequent years, it was the aristocratic neighborhood of the city and the island in general. It still retains elements from this period today. From Bochali, you can enjoy the panoramic views of Zakynthos Town, the port, the blue Ionian Sea, Skopos Mountain, the Gulf of Laganas, and Marathonisi Island.
To the left of the central village square stands the church of ‘Chrysopigi’ with its tall bell tower. We will stay here for about an hour for photos. Crossing the cobbled narrow street will lead you up to the entrance of the Venetian castle of Zakynthos and then to the graphic church of Agia Paraskevi.
Next, we will visit Strani Hill, a historic gem in Zakynthos, where Dionysios Solomos penned the Greek National Anthem. Sip in panoramic views, a tranquil atmosphere, surrounded by olive trees. This spot it's perfect for a relaxing stroll, sunset photos, or a cultural stop—especially during golden hour. A must-visit for history lovers and those seeking peaceful scenery!
From Bochali, you will head to the restaurant to enjoy a multi-course dinner of Mediterranean dishes from an award-winning chef. All dishes are chosen by the heart and taste, of course! We guarantee an unforgettable culinary experience.
After dinner, you will have an hour of free time to explore the charming city of Zakynthos, starting from Solomos Square. This main square was named after Dionysios Solomos, Greece’s national poet, who wrote the national anthem of Greece, ‘Hymn to Liberty’. You will have a leisurely walk through the old city and the market, which is surrounded by neoclassical buildings and lively cafes, Alexandrou Roma Street, a popular shopping district adorned with a variety of boutiques, local shops, and artisanal, as well as the square of Saint Markos with the homonymous Catholic Church and its bell tower. As your evening comes to an end, you will meet with your driver at the restaurant to take you back to your accommodation safely.
