My name is Mayuko（真由子 in Japanese）.
I'm a Official Kanagawa Tour Guide.

I have created a tour program which involves hiking a mountain and cruising of Naval Port, for those seeking a more relaxing and less touristic tour.

[Main activities]

Hiking through a mountain in Yokosuka with a local.
Having boat cruising around the Naval Port.
Gaining insight into Japanese daily life with local.

[What you can expect]

  1. Knowledge of hidden places known only to locals
  2. Photos of scenic mountain and coastal area
  3. A Japanese friend speaking Spanish and English

[Itinerary]

· The tour will take approximately 7 hours
· The total walking time will be 3~4H, 6~7km
· Visit an ancient temple hidden in the mountain by 20mins walk
· Hike up to one of the peaks for about 1Hour
· Go down to the town 20mins (or can take a bus ride)
· Have local specialties (If you have any allergies, please feel free to ask)
· Take a train ride 10min. and get on board for Naval Port Cruise

[How difficult is the hike?]

· For those who frequently hike, it's considered relatively easy. For those who don't hike often, it can be moderately challenging. For those who rarely hike, it's considered a bit difficult.
· For safety reasons and to ensure everyone feels comfortable, if you prefer a slower pace or would like a more personalized experience, please feel free to inquire about our private tour options!

· Please wear comfortable shoes. Preferably trekking shoes
· Recommend wearing long pants/leggings to cover your legs
. The Boart Cruise is subject to be changed due to weather conditions
. This tour starts and ends at different spot, so please feel freely ask the guide any inquiry to arrange the schedule.
