What you can expect

  • Ararat is a traditional Armenian brandy with a history that dates back to 1887. Made with a unique variety of white grapes from the Ararat Valley and aged in centuries-old Armenian oak casks, the cognac-style brandy has a smooth, rich taste with notes of dried fruits, hazelnut and spices. The product of a union of savoir-faire and the generosity of nature, Ararat has been part of the Pernod Ricard group since 1999.

Visit Yerevan Brandy Company and learn how the unique flavours in an Armenian cognac are created.

Breathe in deep as you smell the delicate ingredients that create one of Armenia's most aromatic elixirs. An expert will host a tasting workshop to help you discover the distinctive flavors and characteristics that make cognacs enjoyed worldwide.

Pay close attention to sweet and warming notes as you will be taught to distinguish between different blends and vintages. During this tantalizing taste tour, you will also learn about cognac production; from selecting and harvesting grapes to distillation and bottling.

Enjoy learning about perfect food pairings and the distillery's history before returning home as a bona fide cognac connoisseur.
