Begin your journey with a short drive from Yerevan to the Aragatsotn region, a land where ancient history and modern winemaking meet.

Explore the Agarak Historical & Cultural Reserve and see the impressive scale and creativity of prehistoric winemakers. Learn about Armenia’s autochthonous grape varieties, the mineral-rich soils of Aragatsotn, and the unique local terroir shaped by volcanic landscapes and mountain climate.

Visit Armenia Wine, one of the largest wineries in Armenia and the entire Caucasus, and tour its outstanding Wine History Museum. Compare styles and techniques by discovering two more wineries — one medium-scale and one small family-run cellar, where winemaking traditions are still preserved by hand.
