Start out from Jackson, Wyoming, and head north on the first day through Yellowstone, taking in about half of the park. Spend the night at the historic Chico Hot Springs Resort located to the north of the park, or at a cozy hotel in the charming town of Gardiner.
On the second day, head south to see the rest of Yellowstone, ultimately returning to Jackson, Wyoming in the evening.
