Discover Yala National Park with a highly experienced local safari team that knows the park inside out. Your guide is part of an exclusive circle of drivers with more than 30 years of hands-on experience, leading you through the park in a comfortable 4×4, far from the busy tourist routes.
We enter the park before sunrise, or Evening Session when wildlife is most active. This early access greatly improves your chances of seeing leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and many other species in their natural behaviour.
Rather than staying on the crowded main roads, your guide chooses quiet side tracks to create calm, uninterrupted wildlife encounters. Each safari is conducted patiently, ethically, and with deep respect for the animals and their habitat.
During the morning break you’ll enjoy a fresh breakfast with local flavours. On full-day safaris, we also visit a hidden beach inside the park for a vegetarian rice and curry lunch overlooking the Indian Ocean – a truly special highlight.
Binoculars, drinking water, and fresh fruit are provided, and we allow plenty of time at each sighting to observe without pressure. With our early start and local expertise, leopard sightings reach about 95% (not guaranteed).
Throughout the journey, your guide will share stories and knowledge about Yala’s wildlife and unique ecosystem.
Yala is home to an incredible variety of animals including elephants, sloth bears, wild boar, spotted deer, mongooses, monitor lizards, wild buffalo, sambar deer, jackals, monkeys, crocodiles, jungle fowl, peacocks, storks, pigeons, bee-eaters, eagles, kites, falcons, pelicans, kingfishers, hornbills, snakes, beetles, aquatic species, and countless birds.
Above all, we always place wildlife respect at the heart of every safari.
