Perkara yang anda boleh jangka

  • Most visitors come for the warriors. Fewer leave having fully seen everything this site contains — and the bronze chariots are the most consistently overlooked masterpiece in the complex.

This full-access ticket covers all major components of Emperor Qinshihuang's Mausoleum Museum, including the site that most tour groups skip.

The Warriors: More Than a Formation Pit 1's sheer scale commands immediate attention — 230 meters of soldiers, frozen mid-campaign for 2,200 years. But the real discovery is in the details. Run your eyes along a single row: different heights reflecting rank, different boot styles, different ways of holding their (now absent) weapons. The warriors were originally painted — red lips, black armor, skin tones that made them look alive. Within minutes of excavation, the pigment evaporated. What remains is impressive enough.

Pit 2 introduces the cavalry and crossbow units; Pit 3 reveals the command structure. Starting at Pit 3 and ending at Pit 1 gives you a narrative arc rather than just a visual spectacle.

The Bronze Chariots — The Site's Hidden Masterpiece In a separate exhibition hall, two bronze chariots reassembled from over 3,000 fragments each tell a different story about Qin ambition. Cast at half life-size from bronze and silver, with articulated canopies, movable windows, and harness details accurate to the millimeter, they represent the most technically complex surviving artifacts from this period. Most visitors walk past the signage. Don't.

Lishan Garden The park surrounding the imperial burial mound is a necessary counterpoint to the intensity of the pit halls. A grass-covered earthen mound in the center marks where the emperor lies. The tomb has never been opened. The free park shuttle connects the two areas; allow extra time.

Entry Valid 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. Passport required at the entrance gate. Ensure the name and number on your booking match your travel document exactly.
