Chinese dumpling has a long history and is an essential part of celebratory meals such as those prepared for the Chinese lunar Spring Festival. Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show (The Empress of the Great Tang) , a wonderful performance of the ancient music and dance, is a must when you visit Xi'an. The story is based on the life of the famous historical figure in China: Empress Wu Ze-tian of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). She was the only female emperor in Chinese history who actually ruled the whole country for almost half a century. With a classical Chinese live orchestra and a state-of-art stage design, this music and dance show will bring back to you the legendary Empress Wu Ze-tian and the glory and splendor of the Great Tang Empire.
The Tang Dynasty Palace (Tang Le Gong in Chinese) (Address: No.75, North Chang'an Road, Xi’an, China) is situated along the north-south axis of Xi'an and adjacent to the city center, please find your own way to this theater restaurant 10 minutes earlier to join in.
On ordinary days, there is one session of dinner and show, dinner at 18:15 and show at 19:30.
In travelling high season like September, October, November, there might be two sessions, option one with dinner at 17:00 & show at 17:45, option two with dinner at 19:10 & show at 20:10. Local tour operator will inform you on that day if in this case, and you can choose your preferred option.
