Act 1
The experience starts with the real discovery scene of 1974. It recreates the moment local villagers dug a well for drought relief and accidentally unearthed broken pottery figurines. Right from this historic moment, you are taken back to the Qin Dynasty over 2,000 years ago.
Act 2 Time Travel Begins
General Meng Tian, the famous Qin military negerao, will be your personal guide all the way.He leads you down into Pit 1, where you get a close look at soldiers of different troops — their faces, armors and weapons. See their unique lifelike expressions, ancient war horses, and the magnificent formation of thousands of troops.You can even fly over Pit 1, 2 and 3, viewing charioteers and crossbow warriors that you can never see in the real museum.
Next, wander deep into the mysterious, trap-filled underground tomb passage.Step into the Qin armory and shoot with a real ancient crossbow.Enter the secret alchemy chamber where Emperor Qin sought immortality. Mix your own legendary elixir and satisfy your curiosity and imagination.Walk into the ancient Qin music hall and play the 2,000-year-old bronze bianzhong.Visit the classic books chamber like an ancient Qin library, and uncover the long-standing misunderstanding of the “Burning of Books and Burying of Scholars”.
Then enter the still unexcavated Qin Mausoleum Underground Palace, perfectly restored according to historical records.Marvel at the breathtaking underground wonder: jewels laid out like constellations, and mercury flowing like rivers. Float above the mercury river under the 28 constellations sky. Admire the emperor’s royal chariot and guardian general statues, and finally arrive at the solemn underground burial chamber.
You will also enter the treasure chamber collected after Qin unified China. You can even hold the Imperial Seal and countless rare ancient treasures with your own hands.
Highlight — Emperor Qin’s Appearance
Emperor Qin stands on the nine-tier platform, telling his great achievements and reforms:building the Great Wall and royal highways, digging Lingqu Canal for irrigation, unifying writing, carriage tracks, currency and measurement systems.
In the ending scene, fly over the Qin Chidao(high way), the Great Wall, Lingqu Canal and Dujiangyan(UNESCO).Feel the priceless legacy the Qin Dynasty.
