At appointed time (suggested pick-up time 13:00), our guide will meet you at meeting point — Bell Tower hotel. Then you will take bus or metro to Xian City Wall (Nanmen Stop for bus and Yong Ning Men Station for Metro L2). You will enter the scenic area from South Gate which has the grandest view among all 4 major gates of City Wall. It is the largest and best-preserved city wall in China. It was built for military defense in the ancient time. You can optionally ride a bike on the top of the City Wall to view the city from a different angle.

Afterward, take metro to Big Wild Goose Pagoda. You will change from Metro L2 to L3 at Xiao Zhai Station and then get off at Da Yan Ta Station. Walking through the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda (about 15 min), you will arrive at the entrance gate of Da Ci’en Temple where the pagoda stands.

Then take metro back to city center and get off at Zhong Lou Station. You will explore Muslim Street, one of the best food streets in Xian. You can try some authentic dishes at your own expense. After that, wander around the Bell & Drum Tower Square to admire the over 600-year-old towers from outside. You will enjoy the charming night view of the ancient capital city in the early evening.
