What you can expect

  • Discover the porcelain capital of China on a 3-day cultural journey through Jingdezhen. With certified English-speaking guides, connect with centuries of ceramic heritage. From hands-on pottery sessions to ancient kilns, museums, and night markets, experience pottery as a living tradition and take home your very own creation.

Begin your journey with a high-speed train ride from Wuhan to Jingdezhen. Upon arrival, check into a 5-star hotel and enjoy a delicious meal.

Visit the BingDing Wood-Fired Kiln, where you’ll witness a blend of Ming Dynasty architecture and light art. Learn from UNESCO-recognized artisans using Jingdezhen’s “eggshell porcelain” clay. Try wheel throwing, glazing, and firing—your fired piece is yours to keep.

Explore the Jingdezhen Ceramics Museum and witness ancient kiln craft demonstrations. At the Taoxichuan Night Market, “read” ceramics as cultural texts, spotting Yuan Dynasty motifs beside modern avant-garde works.

Visit the Imperial Kiln Museum, curated by resident scholars, and gain access to restricted kiln zones. Enjoy a cultural and visual feast as you decode 1,000 years of ceramic evolution at active heritage sites.
