What you can expect

  • “Egyptian Treasures” is an immersive cultural exhibition that invites visitors to step into the heart of Ancient Egypt, one of the most iconic and influential civilizations in history. Through a combination of historical narrative, heritage interpretation and immersive scenography, the experience brings to life the symbols, beliefs and defining moments of Pharaonic Egypt in a way that is both educational and engaging. Designed for audiences of all ages, it offers a compelling journey into how the ancient Egyptians lived, what they believed, and how they understood the world, revealing a legacy that continues to inspire fascination today.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors are guided through carefully recreated thematic environments that evoke some of the most emblematic references of Ancient Egypt, including the Temple of Luxor, the Avenue of the Sphinxes, the world of the Pharaohs, the system of hieroglyphs and sacred writing, as well as rituals connected to spirituality and the afterlife. Each setting has been designed to create a fully immersive visual and sensory experience, allowing visitors to connect more closely with the daily life, religious practices and worldview of this ancient civilization.

The exhibition also features around one hundred meticulously crafted replicas of iconic Ancient Egyptian artifacts, produced with a high level of historical and artistic accuracy. These reproductions have been developed under the supervision and curatorship of the Sophia Foundation, ensuring scientific rigor and authenticity in the representation of Egypt’s cultural and symbolic heritage.

In addition to exploring antiquity itself, “Egyptian Treasures” also highlights key moments in the modern rediscovery of Egypt, such as Napoleon’s campaign in Egypt, the discovery of the Rosetta Stone, and the groundbreaking work of Jean-François Champollion in deciphering hieroglyphs. Among its highlights is a reconstruction of the world of Tutankhamun, including his funerary treasures and the ancient Egyptian vision of eternity.
