This exclusive and unique wine experience will immerse your senses and imagination in the wine world !!Our two-hour winemaking session aims not only to teach you how to taste wine but also how to make your own personalized Bottle of Wine to take with you at home!! You will get to sample and carefully select the grape varieties you want in your wine, mix, try, taste again, make improvements, and finally make your own wine under the guidance of a qualified sommelier. After doing this, you'll bottle your wine ,wax your bottle and design a custom label for your very own wine bottle, so you can take your own bottle of wine with you when you leave our atelier!

Activity itinerary

The mission of our winemaking workshop is to create your own personalized bottle of wine to take with you at home and discover your inner winemaker! Experience blending various wines produced from various grape varieties, personalize your label, manually cork, and wax your bottle, and you'll have a completely customized cuvée. Learn about how to taste wine and craft your own bottle step-by-step with a sommelier by your side. Determine the qualities of five different Greek rare grape varieties, taste and observe the color's, feel the textures, smell the different aromas, and discover their different characteristics. Assume the role of an oenologist and craft your own blend, to project your unique personality. Lastly, you will cork, label, and wax your mix to finish this session. What a wonderful and unique experience! This activity feels like a fresh addition to the city, and it's one you definitely don’t want to miss. Not only can you learn about various wines and their origins, but you also get to create your own wine and label while enjoying a tasting alongside delicious cheeses and olives. I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to take a piece of Athens home with them!

Steph was super knowledgeable about all things wine! We went out of busy season, so we had a small group, but it was so fun to learn about wines and try to make our own wine blend! It was tough! Steph assisted us through the process, and going home with our own bottles, was so fun!

WOW, talk about an amazing way to learn about wine from one of the nicest ladies you will ever meet. Her ability to explain the wine tasting process, and the experience is absolutely unforgettable. With our own custom bottle of wine, I will never forget this experience. Thank you so much for teaching me about wine tasting!

Athena was absolutely wonderful and knowledgeable about Greek wines and the tasting process in general. We sampled and evaluated 5 reds- she took us through their history and flavor profiles. We also paired them with some cheese and bread. Then we got to make our own blends, design a label, and bottle it. So cool! Only downside is be warned the neighborhood is not the best.

Steph was wonderful and taught us more than we had already known from past wine tastings. We were able to make two different full bottles of wine blends. Very fun and intimate experience.

If you are a wine lover that's one of the best tasting you will ever experience! Our host/sommelier was extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. He made the experience incredible fun for our small group. Learned a lot about the wines, varietals, blends and history of the wine. It was fun trying mixtures to blend your own wine. and rewarding to make personal blend that matched our individual tastes. Luv the guidance and the process. A definite if you want to learn how to produce your own wine!! At first did not know what to expect but the amount of knowledge and fun we gain from this experience was immerse! Not only you learn how to taste wine and how to evaluate a good wine but you actually make you own wine bottle based on your preferences and personal taste , what a unique memory at the end we took our own bottle with our own personal label with us at home!!
