Tour Leader will assist you with entrance to the museum. Sightseeing takes place 135 m below the surface. Get ready to walk down 800 stairs to get to the starting point.
The tour takes up to 3 hours. Channel your inner miner, exploring the depths of underground chambers, churches, and altars made of salt.

After a 2.5 km walk with a licensed guide provided by the museum, you'll return to the surface with an original elevator used by the miners.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine reaches a depth of 327 meters and extends via horizontal passages and chambers for over 287 kilometers (178 miles).
The rock salt is naturally of varying shades of grey, resembling unpolished granite rather than the white crystalline substance that might be expected.
