You will be rafting the 8 mile section of the South Fork American River from Chili Bar Park to River Park Resort. Average trip length is 3 hours although times may differ due to water flows. Your group will be in a 6 person raft along with one of our skilled and friendly river guides. You don't need any previous experience to raft this section. Class 3 rapids are fun and splashy. Our guide will give you instruction throughout the trip. Your vehicle will be located at the end of the trip so you do not need towels or dry clothes, leave them in your car. All you need to bring on the river are your river attire, sunscreen, water and hats. We offer helmets to everyone and all other necessary gear is provided.
