Paddle through calmer sections and hit the rapids for a mix of adventure. The Kootenay River is an activity that is safe & fun for every member of your family or group. After meeting in Radium Hot Springs, we drive you out to the river, through Kootenay National Park. Enjoy or informative and entertaining guides, while wildlife spotting starts before you even hit the river. At the river we provide neoprene river booties, helmets, and life jackets & splash jackets & pants if needed. Small children (typically those 8 and under, depending on size) are also provided wetsuits. Take in the breathtaking scenery of the Canadian Rockies as you escape into the heart of nature and paddle the legendary Kootenay River, including a riverside snack. After the stunning views and fun rapids we will drive you back to our meeting point in Radium Hot Springs where you can browse souvenirs and merchandise.
