Join me (and my sweet little puppy, if you’d like!) for a relaxing, scenic walk through the most charming part of town—a quiet corner where Wengen’s first settlers built their farms and where traditions live on.

As we make our way through meadows and forest paths, we’ll be surrounded by open views of the Jungfrau, Mürren, and the entire Lauterbrunnen Valley stretching below us and learn about it, so you will get bunch of tips what to do in next days of your stay.

Experience Real Swiss Farm Life
But this walk isn’t only about beautiful landscapes—it’s also a window into everyday alpine farm life like from the old days. Along the way, we’ll pass fields with possibly animals grazing grass around.

We’ll stop here for a short visit to a “trust shop.” If you’d like, you can buy fresh cheese, homemade ice cream, or locally made cold cuts—all directly from the farmer. Since it’s a small production, this is a rare opportunity to taste authentic Swiss products at the source that you won’t find in regular shops.

Optional Cheese & Chocolate Tasting – A Delicious Swiss Treat
If you want to deepen your connection to Swiss alpine traditions, you can add a tasting experience to our tour where I will tell you more about Swiss cheeses—including some surprising “fake news” about Swiss cheese! This 30-minute session lets you savor a selection of delicious local cheeses, chocolates and fruits (3 kinds each).

You’ll also hear fascinating stories about Swiss farming, how these cheeses are crafted, and why these flavors are so special to the region. It’s a perfect way to bring home a taste of Switzerland beyond the usual souvenirs and learn about local attractions and get some tips for next days of your stay.
