  • Cedar Creek was carved by water over millions of years into the rainforest behind Airlie Beach. After a short journey from Airlie Beach, what you find is not the same on every tour.

    Before you walk into the falls, the team has been ahead of you. Chairs and a table are set up, pool noodles and water shoes are ready. Enjoy fresh homemade banana bread with morning or afternoon tea: biscuits, fresh fruit, cake, tea and coffee at the water.

    Your guide shares the Aboriginal cultural history of Cedar Creek and the surrounding country. The story behind the landscape is part of every departure.

    At the falls, the time is yours. The rock pools are cool and clear. The walk to the top threads up through the canopy. Wildlife moves through the bush around you. Your guide is beside you throughout, knowing what's there and where to look.

    • Not recommended for guests with high blood pressure, epilepsy or similar conditions.
    • Maximum 30 guests per departure. Service animals are allowed.
