We begin our experience at “Mi Pueblito,” the starting point of our walking tour. This is where our vehicle drops us off and your guide welcomes you with a brief introduction to the route ahead. Before we begin the gentle hike, you’ll receive a flashlight and a bottle of water to keep you refreshed and prepared. From here, we’ll start our ascent to the summit of Ancon Hill — the highest natural point in Panama City. As we walk through lush tropical forest, your guide will share fascinating insights about the area’s history, ecology, and wildlife. It’s a peaceful and rewarding climb, suitable for all ages, and full of surprises along the way. Get ready to reconnect with nature and enjoy one of the most iconic views of the city!

We made it to the top of Ancon Hill! Take a deep breath and enjoy one of the most stunning panoramic views in all of Panama. From this privileged spot, you'll see the modern skyline of Panama City, the historic district of Casco Viejo, the Bridge of the Americas, the entrance to the Panama Canal, and even ships waiting in the bay — all framed by the surrounding tropical forest. It’s the perfect moment to capture unforgettable photos and soak in the contrast between city and nature. After this scenic highlight, we begin our descent. But the experience isn’t over yet! Keep your eyes and ears open — we’ll be on the lookout for colorful toucans, sleepy sloths in the treetops, and with some luck, we may even spot Geoffrey’s tamarin monkeys playing in the branches as we make our way down.

As we descend Ancon Hill, we pass by the historic Residence of the Canal Administrator — a landmark of elegance and history. Though we don't enter, you'll admire its colonial architecture and learn about its importance during the U.S. era, just before reaching the iconic Panama Canal Administration Building.

We finish the walk with a stop at the iconic Panama Canal Administration Building, a neoclassical structure framed by towering royal palms. From Monday to Friday, we have the opportunity to enter the main lobby, where impressive murals depict the monumental effort behind the Canal's construction, alongside plaques commemorating key historical figures and events. It’s a moment to reflect on Panama’s transformation and global importance. After exploring the lobby, we descend the grand exterior staircase, enjoying sweeping views of the area, and stop at the Goethals Monument — a tribute to one of the chief engineers of the Canal. There, our vehicle awaits to comfortably return us to the hotel.
