After a nice climb, you will find yourself in the historic heart of the city. Accompanied by explanations and anecdotes of your passionate guide, you will discover all the remains of this historic city, starting with the impressive Porte de Gêne and its drawbridge.
Bastion de L'Etendard

The tour will continue by visiting the bastion of the Etendard, the highest in France, where you will admire the typical medieval architecture of this fort of the 15th century. Escalier du Roi d'Aragon

Highlight of the visit, the staircase of the king of Aragon. According to the legend, this staircase was built in a single night in 1420 by the soldiers of the king of Aragon so that they could invade the city and climb into the citadel. When descending the 187 steps of the staircase, you will have an impressive view overlooking the sea at more than 60 meters high. Once down, you will take the path along the cliff to a hidden natural cave. Then, at your own pace, you will climb up the steps.
