Relive the Colonial era of Hong Kong, beginning in the 19th century.
Visits include

The Former Legislative Council Building & Former Supreme Court: A grand building built on reclaimed land, opening 15 January 1912.

The Cenotaph: A monument built in 1923 located between Statue Square and the City Hall. It commemorates those from the Hong Kong forces who died in WWI and WWII.

Former French Mission Building: It now houses the Court of Final Appeal. Built in 1917, the three-storey building was constructed in granite and red bricks in Neo-Classical style from the Edwardian period.

St. John’s Cathedral: The 2nd oldest building in Hong Kong and the oldest Anglican Church in the Far East. Its first Service was on 11 March 1849. During WWII, the Cathedral was converted into a club for the Japanese.

Flagstaff House: Another old British-style building remaining in Hong Kong. It was the home of the Commander of the British forces during colonial times. Today its the Museum of Tea Ware.

The Former Legislative Council Building & Former Supreme Court: A building designed by the same architects who were responsible for the eastern façade of Buckingham Palace. Built on reclaimed land, it opened on 15 January 1912.
Statue Square and Cenotaph

A monument constructed in 1923 that is located between Statue Square and the City Hall. It commemorates those from the Hong Kong armed forces who fought alongside the British that died in the First and Second World Wars.

The cathedral's architectural style is a plain, unadorned adaptation of 13th century English and Decorated Gothic. During the Japanese occupation of Hong Kong from 1941 to 1945, the Cathedral was converted into a club for the Japanese.
Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware

Another of the oldest British-style built buildings remaining in Hong Kong is located in Hong Kong Park. It had been the longtime residence of the Commander of the British forces in Hong Kong during colonial times. Today Flagstaff House houses the Museum of Tea Ware.
