Start from Vlorë and jump onto a speedboat, wind hitting your face as you fly over bright, glassy blue water. The coastline shrinks behind you as you head toward Sazan Island, a place shaped by Albania’s communist past and long years of military secrecy.

Step onto Sazan and you’ll find a strange mix of silence, abandoned structures, and untouched nature. Crystal waters wrap around the island, giving it an isolated, almost unreal feeling between history and wilderness.

Then continue to Haxhi Ali Cave, where the sea opens into a massive rocky chamber once linked to pirate legends. Inside, the boat drifts through echoing water while stories of Haxhi Ali bring the cave’s past to life.

Sail along the Karaburun Peninsula, passing cliffs and hidden inlets where the sea turns deep turquoise. Pause on Karaburun Beach, swim in clear water, and take in the untouched coastline.

Then ride back across open sea to Vlorë, with sun, wind, and waves closing out the day.
